Next year, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 will probably become the largest and craziest edition of all time.
From the World Cup 2015 to the Women’s Euro 2017, we have seen an undeniable and huge growth of women’s football at a global scale. The sport has become one of the core goals to build short and long term strategies for FIFA and UEFA.
In last UEFA Women’s Euro, held in the Netherlands, I had the chance to be part of the UEFA Marketing team at the location of Breda. Undoubtedly, a complete enriching experience that taught me priceless learnings.
FIFA has recently open applications for volunteering at the World Cup. 2,500 people will be needed to successfully run areas as Marketing, Communications, Media or Ticketing.
Why it could be an epic experience:
- Learning from some of the best sports marketing professionals.
- Networking with potential colleagues from top companies as FIFA or UEFA.
- Taking a step forward in your career.
- Living sports inside the heart of a World Cup.
I can look like that, but I don’t have any relationship with the World Cup driving to write this post. I do it because it can definitely be once in a lifetime opportunity.

I’ll do my best to be there too, let’s do this!
