Yesterday, I reached the milestone of having written posts about women’s football marketing 60 days in a row.
I feel identified with the all or nothing philosophy. So I decided that If I was going to provide value to women’s football professionals it had to be everyday, exactly when they need to make a difference in their workplace.
Two are the learnings that I have taken away from these 60 days and I’d like to share them with you.
- Your target is the boss. She or he are the ones in charge, they get to decide what’s get written and when. The same happens with your fans, followers, sponsors or athletes. If you are here for them, they decide what’s good and enough.
- Go micro. Writing 60 days in a row looks like hard job, and it is. But break that goal into weeks, days and hours, it will be easier to do your part everyday. What’s the one thing you can do, such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?
- Frequency and consistency. The most we are impacted by consistent ideas, the more we tend to retain them. It’s about volume and authenticity. You will need both to make an impact.
- Compromise. You have an agreement with yourself, you decide if you sign it. If not, don’t even start.
